The Greater Economic Success group involves around 20 of the areas largest manufacturers. The group identifies key issues that affect their business performance and through benchmarking and other techniques attempt to find solutions.
This does not exclude smaller manufacturers and the intention is to develop a regional group as an off-shoot from the main body. We actively support our regional supply chain - to that end we are developing a recommended contractor group.
Through adding value to existing large scale manufacturing the GES contributes to creating a more efficient base from which to grow the economy of North Lincolnshire and beyond.
By highlighting current and potential issues the GES has a voice in shaping the regional economic strategic response.
Over 20 companies are now part of this approach, including Harsco, Kimberly Clark, TATA, Singleton Birch, OSI Food Solutions UK, Corus Cogifer, HITEK Electonic Materials, John Joyce Engineering,CYMARC Engineering, 2 Sisters Food Group.
