About NLBN -
North Lincolnshire Council, supported by the North Lincolnshire Strategic Partnership, is a new network for local businesses. The North Lincolnshire Business Network (NLBN) meets every month in Scunthorpe. The network has one simple aim - to help local businesses find more trade in North Lincolnshire.
Whether you are just starting out in business or have been trading for years, networking can play a large part in your success. It can help you raise your profile amongst other businesses and achieve more sales.
Networking is about meeting contacts and building trusted and genuine relationships with other business people. It provides the opportunity for you to meet people who may be able to help your business, as well as the opportunity for you to offer your assistance to others. North Lincolnshire Business Network is open to any business based within North Lincolnshire. Visitors from outside the area looking to network with local companies are also welcome to attend.
For people new to networking, it might seem a daunting prospect. But by investing time in other people you might soon find that your business is reaping rewards. At the North Lincolnshire Business Network you can be assured of a warm welcome and help in meeting new people.

Joining the North Lincolnshire Business Network
If you’re a North Lincolnshire business your first visit to the Network is completely free of charge! Please note there is a £10 charge to visitors based outside of North Lincolnshire.
There is an annual membership fee of £60 for businesses in North Lincolnshire and £100 to those outside the area. As part of your membership you will be able to:
- Socialise and interact with peers from local businesses
- Network in an informal environment with a relaxed approach
- Guest speakers at each meeting covering useful business topics
- Spotlight Member Session, where one business per meeting can present information about your business to all other members
- Access to the North Lincolnshire Business Network website Member Directory - Calendar of Events, News, Useful Information & Advertising Opportunities
